Why does he need her help? Hmm :P

"

A gentle knock at the door was what woke him. Julian groggily got to his feet and walked across the room. As he passed the furnace, he noticed that it had once again not been lit. Groaning to himself, he opened the door and frowned for a moment. It was earlier than he had anticipated, he had only sent the messenger after breakfast, and he didn’t expect her to reply so quickly. Cecie stood expectantly at the door, a smile dancing on her lips. Julian put a hand through his hair as he took a step back into his room and looked around. Grabbing his coat and his hat, he walked out of the room, deciding that he would be safer without weapons. The healer sidestepped to avoid him as exited the room. Julian looked at her and smiled, “You don’t talk much, do you?”

Cecie frowned and her brow furrowed in concentration before she answered, “Not much, I like listening.” Travesty couldn’t help but smile when he heard her melodious voice again. He decided that during their travels, he would have to get her to communicate more. “I was meaning to ask you something...” Julian started hesitantly. Cecie looked at him in the eyes, her ice-like blue eyes making the conversation more difficult. “You remember when you embraced me yesterday?”

Cecie’s expression betrayed her fear that she had done something wrong and her eyes started to well up with tears. Julian panicked, “Oh! Ah, no... I mean, eh, you remember when I embraced you? Because I realised how fantastic you are?”

Cecie’s smile returned and for a moment Julian thought that he saw a flicker of amusement cross her face. Stopping in the middle of the palace hallway he turned towards her. “Are you making fun with me?” The guilty look that crossed her face answered his question. It was pleasant to know that she wasn’t completely innocent, yet still bothersome that she could make him feel guilty so easily. “Embrace?” asked the high voice in an enquiring tone. “Ah, yes, that.” Julian resumed, “When you put your arms around me, did you try to do anything?”

Cecie looked at him sceptically, “What?” Julian was unsure of how to phrase his question, “Did you want something to happen when you put your arms around me?” Cecie started to look uncomfortable, “I don’t know?” But Julian started to press her for answers, “You have to know what you were thinking when it happened, was there something you tried to do... or was there something you wanted to happen?”

Travesty noticed a pink tinge to the young Mage’s skin. In that moment he realised what he just asked. “Oh hell no... I didn’t mean that, eh, how do I explain? You healed me!” Julian started to wave his hands around, trying to illustrate what happened. “When our bodies met, you somehow healed by wounds... I wanted to know if you meant to do that.” Travesty finished with an encouraging smile.

Cecie breathed a sigh of relief; however her look of exasperation was quickly replaced with confusion. “Wounds?” Julian groaned and merely replied, “Just something that happened a while ago, it is okay now.” The white mage stopped walking for the second time and looked at Julian, her eyes started to mist over until they were completely white. Travesty panicked and started to call her name. Looking around, he saw nobody that would be able to help her. Just as he was about to run for a monk, his limbs stopped working. “What the hell is going on?” He got no reply as he felt a warm sensation flood his entire body. “Are you doing this?!” Julian asked as he felt pressure apply itself to his body, pressing him against the wall behind him. “Wounds.” Was the only reply that he got back from her. Cecie raised her hand and started to point her finger at certain points of the Sky Pirate’s body. Just as he opened his mouth to say something else, the pressure released and the warmth left his body. It wasn’t a very pleasant feeling, but there was something different... but what?

Cecie’s eyes returned to their beautiful shade of blue. Smoothing her dark hair behind her right ear, she began walking again, pausing only to look back at Julian who finally realised what had happened. Lifting his trouser leg, he looked for a scar that wasn’t there. “Knife wound to the side... gone? Sword over the shoulder, gone? Graze on left leg, disappeared? I’m completely healed.” Looking back to Cecie, Travesty swore, she didn’t look in any way exerted or tired. Just how powerful was this girl?

“Where?” Cecie asked as she stood waiting. Julian, after regaining his composure smiled. “We’re going to the prison cells, I need your help selecting someone.”
