Khaled Hishma Poetry: You Are My Lady

Khaled Hishma Poetry: You Are My Lady

A Poem by Khaled Hishma

From the intense blackness...
Of your expansive hair...
On the shoulders of...
The beauty of your world.
From the glare...
Of the radiating sun...
On the coast of...
Your eyes...
And your mouth grandeur.
From this sorrow...
Inhabiting in you...
Spreading a streak of pain...
On the excellence of your face.
I write to you...
A lyric poem...
To dispel the grief...
Secluded in your path.
For you are...
My lady who...
Excite delight in the hearts...
Which is assassinated...
By the conceited time.
My lady who...
Makes wailing...
Commit suicide and disappear.
And who kills the evil...
Setting in the chests.
My lady who...
Sprinkles scent in the sky...
And plants life...
And superbness in the seas.
My lady who...
Ornaments ignis fatuus...
With endless hope...
And fashions out despair joy.
My friend...
Do not accept...
The control of...
The dusky night...
On the beach of...
Your imprisoned jubilation.
Do not submit...
To the madness of...
The black fear...
Drowning the cities of...
Your submissive time.
Do not render...
The ill-being...
Invades your palaces...
And crushes the...
Fortresses of your distressed world.
Hence, such as you...
Embeds seeds of...
Love and gaiety...
And germinates in the land...
Sweet Basil and Jasmine.
