Khaled Hishma Poetry: The Impossible Easy

Khaled Hishma Poetry: The Impossible Easy

A Poem by Khaled Hishma

My vigor abates when seeing you
And I know your ardent love is impossible easy.
In God's name do not treat me unjustly
If fear and something of fright stroked me.
My life is a strange long clash
Surrounded with perplexity...longing...and dread.
How many distant routes I proceeded through
And how many instants the craze inscribed.
In my realm everything runs out
Killing it...the palmists and readers of cowries.
My world is a beautiful dream if I want to
But it sinks in the apprehension.
My heart is an obscure passion book
For everyone infatuated with love and cupidity.
I feel awe if I draw near you
Deviation and estrangement in the inclination.
My being near you is a case of feeling
Overwhelming me ...evoking anguish.
I want you the balsam of my healing
From grief...pain...and heresies.
My blues are winds agitating my epoch
And a night's deluge garbed with tears.
Since I known you months ago
And in a multitude of stilled blaze.
Subduing in me the insight and listening.
Do you accept if I wanted you a sun
For my lifetime...Illuminating my uprooted path.
You are my genuine new headline
And the Creator's gift which cannot be returned.
