The Call

The Call

A Poem by Hussain Khan
"

This poem describers about a call that was made by nature and holy eternal spirit to a penuma's (soul's) serenity.

"

The Call:

I received a call,

A call from the cosmos;

I received a call,

A call from the Jehovah;

The call was received,

Not by the body nor by the wits,

But was received by an eternal sanity;

With its ceaseless vanity,

Holding me to obey,

The Lords and to lay,

Not for the sake of prostration,

But for the pneuma’s serenity.
