Nobody

Nobody

A Poem by Khawaja Musadiq

Nobody loves me, Nobody cares
Nobody picks me peaches n pears
Nobody offers me candy n cokes
Nobody listens n laughs at my jokes
Nobody helps when I get into a fight
Nobody does all my homework at night
Nobody misses, Nobody cries
Nobody catches me colourful butterflies
So, if you ask me who my best friend is
I'll stand up in a whizz
And tell you that nobody is
But yesterday night I got quite a scare
I woke up and nobody just wasn't there
I called and reached for nobody's hand
In the darkness where nobody would usually stand
Then I poked through the house in every cranny and nook
But I found somebody each place that I looked.
I searched till I'm tired
And, now with the dawn

Nobody is gone !

Nice flow of thoughts led to interesting ending. The movement of the words gave strength and story to the poetry. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome.
It is a great poem. Flows easy, nice use of imagery. Very creative. It feels to me, as if every word is where they should be. 100 points, and adding to my favorites. Keep writing. :)

About
I'm all emptiness. Blank as the sky; I am. Not as blank as a paper though. I've traces of clouds as well. I feel the need of wind that will either make me all cloudy or cloudless! more..
