Why Did You Have to Die

Why Did You Have to Die

A Poem by Kathryn Star, Shine!
"

An in-depth look into my own world, as to why my own living realitive had to die and me left behind.

"

Dear Sister,

Didn't I say,

The man you married was not what you saw,

Evil and money hungry,

Yet you went along.

I had to carry your coffin to your resting place,

Crying for the moments, left unsaid

Knowing that tomorrow would never come

Flowers showered your coffin that day

Me in the night, waiting for you to wake up

Hoping it was a dream,

But seeing you laying dead'

Nothing I could do

Hopeless I cried not for me but for you,

You died too young,

Your life ahead

Someone took that away from you,

They alway wanted that.

God have mercy on their souls.

Wow! This is a very deep and emotional poem. My heart aches for your loss, but I would like to think that your sister has found peace, and at some point, the evil that sent her to her grave will find its deserved judgment. You will never forget the pain, but try to focus on the good times; this is what works for me. With time, the pain will ease, and her memory will live on through you. This is a very nice write! Thank you for sharing.

Of course it still hurts, my friend and your writing about your sister may help you live with it. I agree with Arthur, she will always be with you.

You will move on, and sis will always be with you Kathryn...She will never, ever leave you. You are her twin sister. You are still here and she is here with you.

Some people cry into an empty night. Words that will echo only to their own soul. But others speak in words that illuminate the darkness, that other WILL hear them. That others will heed their warning. Why do people fall in love with someone who is bad for them? Some say the phrase that "Opposites attract" infers that the more good and pure one person is - the more they will attract a hiddeous demon.

I hope that someone reads this passage, and takes your poetic words as a warning of what might be their impending doom. For your words shine upon the demon in the shadows exposing him for what he/she might truly be.

Fantastic work, my friend. Thank you for sharing it with us.
