Addicted to Acceptance

Addicted to Acceptance

A Poem by Kathryn Star, Shine!
"

Have you ever felt that you don't belong anywhere?

"

Make sure my hair is just right,

Is my clothes in style

Did I buy a stylish car,

Am I too fat or too thin,

Does my job impress you

Am I too pale or should I tan

Tell me the truth so I'll understand,

What it takes for you to accept me.

This is an unknown problem in most people and the problem is they do not realize who they are buying for, who they are trying to impress, and in the end it should always be yourself. Great job.

About
I write novels as a profession. I am not a poet. All my poetry is just my thoughts and I don't profess to be anything but a beginner. I hate drama, I love the beach, hiking and camping. I love frie.. more..
