Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Kathryn Star, Shine!
"

Nothing is impossible, unless you say it isn't so.

"

Ebbing waves move through your mind,

Splashing thoughts

Creating

There is today

To make your dreams become reality

Don't let the crashing waves of the oceans tide

Scare you away

Oh the creative voices in our head that roll and crash like the thunderous waves of the ocean. Some flow gently, while others demand immediate attention. It can be as if you are in a crowded room trying to write and everyone is clamoring for your attention. Don't let all the different ideas that are forming at once scare you away. Do what you can today for tomorrow will hopefully come with another rolling in of the tide carrying even more new thoughts with it. Wonderful writing and this is only my interpretation.

For such a short poem, this is simply fraught with vivid imagery and meaning.

Those first few lines grab the reader's attention immediately, and the end leaves them wishing for something more.

It also emanates an overall feeling of hope and just general hazy dreaminess. I loved it!

So much can be said of what you have wonderfully written with that of the poetess brush of a pen. This whole tapestry of writing is a recorded journal of truth.

Than You Kathryn for sharing!
