Funky Kind of LoveA Poem by Kathryn Star, Shine! Not every relationship is the same!Tip toe to into your day, Early light just sprung through the windows Cooking in the early morn, Smell of coffee in the air While you sleep Slowly I Open Your Bedroom door Snork! is all I hear Climbing to the side of the bed I tickle your face with part of your pillow Your hand lashes out to squish that bug! Laughing now, silently I put your blankets just below, Your legs and feet and wonder, Will HE ever get up! "Don't" he says, Than opens his eyes Rubs his face to see the plate of flatcakes, Ham and some coffee Than looking at me with bewildered eyes, says How'd you get in here, it's a dorm for guys?" Giggled I tickle him and told him how, When I rang the bell I said I was Frank, Now There are twenty guys at your door Asking me please can you make more! © 2009 Kathryn Star, Shine!Author's Note
