Little Bird

Little Bird

A Poem by Kathryn Star, Shine!
"

When someone dies, can they come back and visit through birds or other vices?

"

There you are

By my door

Litte bird, with grey wings and yellow eyes

I took a glance, smiling with grief

"Hello," and just when I thought

One second it was you

Something scared you away;

See you tomorrow... my friend

I've often wondered the same thing . I look for those little hidden message from beyond and above that have probably been there all my life but i've been too busy to listen and look out. Always caught up in my own noise that i cant hear the knocking from beyond. Until recently ...or maybe im just showing my age . Very interesting views and touching .

A very inspiring poem.

Sadly there are many among us that have never stopped even for a moment to speak to a little bird. Sadder still is the fact that there are some who once did speak to little ones, but who are now too busy to ever do it again.

yeah. I had an orange cat that became obsessed with my house even before we started feeding it. For some reason I just... I thought it was my grandma. I don't know. But I feel the same as your poem. Nice concept to write about.

Deep. That's something I enjoy,
watching birds, trying to make out what they're saying, what they're doing and why.......
along with other animals.
Everyday things are found in animals that remind people of their lost loved ones.

This was a great poem.
Keep up the awesome work!

its like a journal entry, stating things that have really happened to you that day, it was beatiful and the way you made something so simple sound so wonderful, it really characterises you and your fantabulous poems.

this is so sensitive and can be interpreted in many ways, sometimes what we see or who we see may not want us to see them at all. They just want to be near us and that is how I read this very nice piece. Glad I stopped by to read your work.
Thank you for the review.
