Shadows?

It was 3 or 4 weeks ago. I was looking at the moon it was long after midnight and so very quiet here in the forest. You called my name and startled me. I felt and heard my heart pounding, I hesitated and answered "who's there?" I know what I heard, it was not far to my right. I didn't feel anyone though. 

It happened again and I shook it off, nah that didn't happen. Then when I closed my eyes I started to see you. So very faint at first. Now you are in high definition. I look for you everywhere. I have been venturing out, traveling in grids as I work my way out in a circle. It seems now you only call my name when there is a room full of people. Like yesterday in the cafe. Who are you? Where are you? Why are you consuming me? I'm madly in love with you!

Then I woke up.
