EXT.CHICAGO-STREET.NIGHT
The snow is falling covering the usually dirt road in a
glistening white.
By passers are driving sleds as opposed to stagecoaches. We
can tell that it is Christmas time by the atmosphere and
Christmas Carols filling the air.
At the end of the street is a dark house with almost no
light showing. It has a cobblestone path and two twisted
trees almost cover the front door.
The blood curdling scream of a WOMAN is heard from inside.
                                                  WE CUT TO:
INT.ENWOOD HOUSE.NIGHT
The interiors of the house speak volumes of a second class
citizen habitat with plain furniture, faded carpet and a few
paintings on the walls.
A young WOMAN lays on the dining room table as MEGAN ENWOOD
(16) very pretty with a fair complexion sucks from the
Woman’s neck.
In the far corner of the room lit by only faint candlelight
is JOANNA ENWOOD (15) quite tall, thin and of olive
complexion and her younger sister AMY ENWOOD (12) an
ashen-faced brunette with big red eyes.
They are feeding on a young MAN who is barely gripping to
life. Isolated in the center of the dining room is BETHANY
ENWOOD (14) a regular snow maiden with blonde hair and green
eyes.
She is feeding on an older WOMAN of at least fifty and rich
in apperance.
Jo takes her face away from the Man’s neck and shows the
blood dripping from her mouth.
                    JO
What would Christmas be without a

few corpses?

Meg rolls the dead body of the Woman off of the table and
sits upon it. She looks at herself in her raggy burgandy
dress.

                    MEG
I really needed this to stay clean.
It’s oh so dreadful being minus of
          money.
Amy finishes up the Man letting his corpse drop to the
floor.
                    AMY
Do you think it fair that some
          Vampires have many more squirming
treats for their Christmas and we
get the hand me downs of Chicago’s
          low end?
Beth pulls away from her victim who is still alive. The old
Woman looks at Beth with dread in her stare.
                    OLD WOMAN
          Please. Please don’t kill me.
Beth strokes her forehead gently and with one quick snaps
the Old Woman’s neck.
                    BETH
We have each other and nothing is
          more important than family for
          Christmas right?
                    MEG
How do you manage to turn a
          sentimental moment upside down by
always breaking a neck? Can’t you
just drain them out for once?
                    BETH
A quick death is a painless death.
                    MEG
          Something of which humans deserve

less of.

                    JO
          I’ll second that. F*****g slayers
are the reasons we are becoming a
          valnuable species.
                    AMY
I kill with the thoughts of our
Father. It helps to motivate me
          against them.

                    JO
One of these days. I’m going to
          individually tear out the throats
of every human in this city and
leave nothing but a pool of blood.
The two big doors of the dining room fly open and standing
in the archway is MYRA ENWOOD (40) striking dark hair and
looks.
The girls all turn to her as she walks slowly over to them.
Myra sees the bodies of the victims lying on the floor and
looks at the girls as if about to explode.
                    MYRA
          What is this mess!
The girls jump at the sudden outburst of their mother.
                    MYRA
How many times do I have to tell
you. If your going to feed on these
swine do it in the basement or your
bedroom and not the family area.
Our carpet may not be state of the
art but it is hard to clean.
The girls all look at Myra ashamed.
                    MEG
We are sorry mother. It will not
          happen again.
                    JO
          The hell it won’t.
Jo is cut off by a sharp look from Meg. Jo quietly stands
down. Myra sits in the seat at the head of the table.
                    MYRA
I love you girls really I do (a
beat) but you have to abide by the
things I say. If the humans know
that we are the ones responsible
          for their deaths then.
                    AMY
               (Interupting)
Then every slayer winds up on the
          doorstep. We know.

Forgive us mother. It’s just we
were hungry and didn’t know when
          you would return.
                    MYRA
I know. Just make sure it dosen’t
happen again. Oh and Joanna don’t
ever talk out of tune to me again
or I will make you eat all of your
          meal through a straw.
Myra stands up and Jo gives her an evil glare.
                    MYRA
          I come baring gifts.
Myra exits for a brief moment and returns with a MOTHER and
DAUGHTER. The little girl is no older than seven. Both are
terrified.
                    MOTHER
Please! What are you going to do

with us?

                    MYRA
Why we are simply going to invite
to join us for a late night supper.
Weren’t we my pretty little vampire
          ladies?
                    ALL GIRLS
          Yes mother.
Myra stands the Mother up and looks deep into her eyes. The
Mother goes into a trance state.
                    MYRA
You want to stay and join us don’t

you?

                    MOTHER
          Yes. We would love to.
                    MYRA
          That’s the spirit.
Myra directs her to the chair at the tables head.
                    MYRA
          Please sit.

          Thank you.
The little girl watches her Mother join the ladies at the
table with tears in her eyes. Amy comes and sits next to the
girl.
                    AMY
          Are you scared?
The little girls nods at Amy. Amy takes her hand.
                    MYRA
What say you my girls. Have you
eaten your fill or do you crave
          more?
The girls all look at each other and begin closing in on the
completely tranced Mother.
                    MEG
          It is Christmas after all.
                    BETH
It would be an insult not to accept
          mother’s gift.
                    JO
          Merry Christmas to us.
                    MYRA
          That’s my girls.
Myra’s fangs pop out and she bites the Mother first. The
girls all join her. The little girl hugs into Amy, crying.
Amy calms her down then begins biting her.
The blood splatter on the screen reveals the OPENING TITLES:
PRETTY LITTLE VAMPIRE LADIES.
INT.CHICAGO-NEWSPAPER OFFICE.DAY
Journalist HANNAH LUDWIG (30) your average run of the mill
blonde. Sits at her desk hands on her head appearing in deep
riveting thought.
She twirls her pen around in her hand. It’s clear to see she
is suffering from writer’s block.
                    HANNAH
               (To herself quietly)
Come on Jesus. Give me something to
          write about.
She is suddenly startled by a ruckus outside the office.
Hannah rushes to see what the fuss is.
EXT.NEWSPAPER OFFICE.DAY
Upon peering through the small crowd of ONLOOKERS Hannah is
shocked at the sight of a Mother and Daughter laying dead in
the snow.
                    HANNAH
          What happened here?
                    ONLOOKER MALE
Don’t know miss. It’s as if they
          were just dumped her overnight.
                    ONLOOKER FEMALE
Who would do such a terrible thing.

          Have the police been notified?
                    ONLOOKER MALE
Yes. That’s why we all came running

over here.

Hannah takes a final good look at the bodies and sees that
the wounds are on the neck.

HANNAH

Vampires?

                    ONLOOKER MALE
          What was that mam?
                    HANNAH
Oh nothing. I think I just found my
          new article. Excuse me.
Hannah takes off back inside and a couple of POLICE OFFICES
start ushering people away from the scene.

          Vampires what havoc they wreak.
INT.ENWOOD HOUSE-BETH’S ROOM.NIGHT
Beth and Amy are playing hopscotch. Amy throws her skull
dice and they land on six a piece. Beth looks less than okay
with that roll.
                    BETH
Again! That’s the third double six
          you’ve rolled. Your cheating aren’t
          you?
                    AMY
No! I don’t need to cheat in order

to beat you.

                    BETH
Liar! We both know I am stronger
          and faster than you.

AMY Oh yeah?

Amy begins doing hopscotch at the speed of lightening. She
finishes and strikes a cocky pose near the door. Beth glares
at her and her eyes transition to a vibrant orange.
Amy brings a doll up that has an antique watch built into
it’s stomach. Amy checks her time.
                    AMY
Twenty one seconds. Well lets see
          how fast you really are.
                    BETH

Fine!

Beth does the same course Amy just did but is proven to be
slightly slower. Amy checks the watch and smiles cheekily at
Beth.

I call your bluff. You could just
          make up any time.
                    AMY
I could but I didn’t. This doll is
          accurate always.
                    BETH
          How do you know?
                    AMY
Because the watch used to be
fathers and he put a time
          manipulation curse on it. Which
means nobody can alter it’s time
          readings.
Amy drops it on the floor and leaves with her head high.
Beth hits the wall with her fist causing a small crack.

She sits by her giant glass window and stares out into the
foggy night.
INT.ENWOOD HOUSE-MEG’S ROOM.NIGHT
Meg is getting all dressed up in a gorgeous emerald green
Victorian dress. Her hair looks glamorous in curls that flow
down her back.
Jo enters dressed in a Maroon Victorian dress and her hair
tied in a sensible pony tail. She doesn’t look anywhere near
as girlie as her sister.
Meg looks at her and gasps.
                    MEG
          Where are your gloves?
                    JO

No. Your attire is never complete
          without them. Mine is fine.
Meg lets out a small yell of frustration and takes off one
of her gloves handing it to Jo.
Jo looks down at it and drops it on the floor. Meg becomes
angry.
                    MEG
          Pick it up!

JO

No.

                    MEG
Pick up the glove (a beat) now.
                    JO
          I don’t want it.
                    MEG
Josephine Enwood. You pick up that
f*****g glove or I will tear off
your hands to save you the trouble!
                    JO
          Listen you little germaphobic
b***h. I’m not going to pick up the
glove because I don’t want to wear
          the f*****g thing alright and
tearing off my hands would do you
no favors because when they grew
back I would only use them to
          properly slaughter you with.
                    MEG
Fine but just know how good and
clean a glove makes a girl look.
          Easier to attract food.
                    JO
I don’t need a glove to attract my
prey. They seem to have a thing for
          girls with purple eyes.
Jo twirls around in front of Meg and leaves. Meg’s fangs pop
out and when she turns to her mirror all that is seen is a
dress floating in thin air.

INT.BALLROOM.NIGHT
A crowd of kids dance with each other under a grand looking
disco ball. The ones who are not dancing are seated alone or
in small groups mingling.
All four Enwood sisters enter and attract the attention of
many. Especially the male attendees.
They stop and stare at the people before splitting up. Beth
heads over to a small table and sits. Amy goes straight for
the bathroom while Jo heads for the punchbowl.
Meg scopes out the dance floor and begins dancing alone.
Soon Jo is joined by a young teen BOY around her age. He
moves closer to her with every step.
                    BOY
The punch is good. I think it’s
          apple and currant.
                    JO
               (Sarcasm in her tone)

Yay.

She clears her throat realizing her opportunity. Jo’s
attitude towards the Boy increases for the better.
                    JO
               (Pleasantly)
          I mean. I don’t think I’ve tried
          that flavor before.
                    BOY
Oh here let me get a glass.
The Boy fills up two punches and gives Jo hers. Jo raises
her glass to him and him to her. They cheers and drink.
                    BOY
          Pretty good huh?
                    JO

Well hi there pretty thing. Care

for a dance?

                    BETH

          mind getting me some punch?
                    YOUNGER BOY
          I’d be happy to.
He rushes over to the punch table. The Older Boy sits and
smiles at Beth.
                    BETH
You have a nice complexion in your

Amy stands in front of the mirror but her reflection is not

cubicle.
Two YOUNG STARLETS come prancing in. They begin fixing

Amy stands silent in the cubicle.
                    STARLET 1
I do declare. Did you see that

Which one?

                    STARLET 1
The one with the really pale skin
and the maroon dress. Who do she
          think she is Dracula’s bride.
The Starlets laugh while Amy listens in looking angry.
                    STARLET 2
          Your kidding. Even Dracula would

dismiss her.

Amy loses it and slams her fist on the cubicle. The Starlets

When you find them. Lure them the

bathroom.

Amy storms off and Jo goes on the hunt. The ballroom doors
open and in walks Hannah.
She is dressed provocatively and heads right for the punch.
She begins walking around on the dance floor until she is
approached by Beth who just finishes wiping her mouth.

BETH

          Evening.
Hannah turns around startled by her.
                    BETH
Sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.
                    HANNAH
          Oh it’s alright. A fascinating
          night is it not.
                    BETH
          Oh yes quite.
Hannah sips her punch and notices the two Boys Beth was with
laying face down on the table.
                    HANNAH
Did they smuggle in something they
          should not have?
                    BETH
I don’t know. We were chatting and
          they both suddenly fell asleep.
          Weird.
Jo sneaks up behind Beth.
                    JO
          Who’s your friend Beth?
                    HANNAH
          Oh Hi. I’m Hannah.
Hannah extends her hand to Jo who does not shake it.
                    HANNAH
I work for the newspaper. I am
writing a report on the murder of a
          mother and daughter recently.
                    JO
          Oh charming.
                    HANNAH
Yes. They were dumped in the snow
          outside our branch office three
          days ago.
Jo and Beth look to each other knowingly. They manage to
remain calm.

                    BETH
Do the police have any leads?
                    HANNAH
At this stage I can’t really say.
          Everything is being kept under
wraps quite tightly. Do you ladies
          know anything.
                    JO
               (In Denial)
Not really. Only what our mother
          has read thus far.
Meg joins the circle with a LAURIE (26) a man with his long
hair in a pony tail and wearing a masquerade mask.
                    BETH
Meg! This is Hannah she is a
          newspaper reporter.
                    MEG
          How do you do.
                    JO
          She is investigating the recent
          murder victims dumped outside the
Chicago news office three days ago.
Do you know anything about that?
Meg swallows hard obviously hiding something.
                    MEG
No not at all. This is Laurie.
          Laurie these are my sisters
          Elizabeth and Josephine.
                    LAURIE
          Pleasure my ladies.
                    JO
          I’m sure it is.
                    HANNAH
          Hi I’m Hannah.
                    LAURIE

Any luck on the recent murder case.
                    HANNAH
Not as yet sadly. Police are being
          very tight lipped.
                    LAURIE
Oh. Well I look forward to reading
what you do come up with.
                    MEG
Laurie and I are heading out back
for some fresh air. Would you care
          to join us?
Beth and Jo decline along with Hannah. Meg and Laurie stride
off together.
                    HANNAH
          Your sister seems nice.
                    JO
          Oh she’s a real gem.
                    BETH
Speaking of sister we must be going
off to find our youngest Amy.
                    HANNAH
Oh there are four of you.
                    JO
Yes and sometimes four is a crowd.

Goodnight.

                    HANNAH
          Goodnight.
Beth and Jo take off through the crowd. Hannah watches them
leave.
                    HANNAH

                    BETH
I don’t know. Do you think she
          suspects anything.
                    JO
          She’s a reporter. They always
suspect. Amy asked me to find these
two girls for her and lead them
here. Help me? That is of course if
          your not still looking.
                    BETH
          Oh no. I’m quite full.
Beth looks over to the two Boys she was with who are still
laying on the table.
                    JO
          Risky much?
                    BETH
          What’s a hunt without a risk.
                    JO
Just help me find them. One has a
flower on the back of her dress.
They split up and look.
EXT.BALLROOM.NIGHT
Meg is outside with Laurie.
                    MEG
A fine night out. Wouldn’t you

agree?

                    LAURIE

          you.
                    MEG

                    LAURIE
Then peep through the slits my
          dear. Peep through the slits.
Meg smiles at him and the two become close. She peers into
his eyes.
                    MEG
You have innocent eyes. I admire

that.

                    LAURIE
Your eyes are very blue. Almost
like a summer sky. I admire that.
                    MEG
They say that the eyes are the
window to the soul. They tell no
lies. Yet your mask says different.
You need not be low on self esteem
          with me. I won’t bite.
                    LAURIE
Your right. The eyes are the window
to the soul but eyes can lie.
                    MEG
If you believe that. It means your
          hiding something.
                    LAURIE
I believe we both are. After all
the only true honesty is a lie.
Laurie reaches into his jacket and pulls out a stake. Meg
looks at him then steps back.

MEG

Slayer!

                    LAURIE
Meg goes on the attack and a fight between them breaks out.

Monster!

INT.BATHROOM.NIGHT
Jo and Beth enter the bathroom with the two Starlets. The
group all laugh and joke.
                    STARLET 1
So I said to her. How fat do you
need to be in order to be
          considered a cow.
                    STARLET 2
She actually answered. She said big
enough so a scale rejects you.
They continue laughing.
                    BETH
          Oh you two are extraordinary
company I must say. Wouldn’t you
          agree Jo.
                    JO
Oh yes. Quite the pair of
          princesses. This girl your talking
about. What did you say she looked
          like again?
                    STARLET 1
Why. She was the one on the dance
floor in the Maroon dress and
          looked like Dracula’s daughter.
                    JO
Oh you mean Megan. Our sister.
The mood switches at the word SISTER. The Starlets become
shocked and guilt stricken.
Amy slowly walks out of the cubicle and the Starlets are now
surrounded.
                    STARLET 1
Now hold on a minute. We can all
          talk this through.
                    AMY
Oh I think you’ve done your fair
          share of talking tonight.
                    JO
          Agreed. Besides I’m starved.

19.

The Starlets try to run but Jo and Amy pounce on them and
begin their feeding. The Starlets scream and blood paints
the walls.
INT.BALLROOM.NIGHT
The ball rages on until Laurie comes flying through the
doors. Everybody stops instantly.
Meg stands tall showing her fangs and red eyes to a peering
crowd. Laurie gets up slowly.
                    MEG
You were going to stake me!
          Insidious human!
                    LAURIE
I am not the insidious one. You

monster.

Hannah looks on in shock. Jo, Beth and Amy join Meg by her
side.
                    MEG
It would seem you are greatly out
          numbered. Drop your stake and
          surrender to an honorable death.
                    AMY
That means. We will kill you fast.
                    LAURIE
Did you kill my mother and sister

fast?

Hannah gasps in awe. The crowd becomes scared and start to
flea. Jo and Beth run to the exit with incredible speed and
begin feeding on the fleeing people.
Laurie goes at Meg with his wooden stake but she out
maneuvers him with speed. Meg picks him up as if he were
cheese and throws across the floor.
Hannah runs over to aid Laurie.
                    HANNAH
          Are you alright?
                    MEG
Foolish woman. This is all your
fault! If you and your paper
          buddies would just leave well

                    HANNAH
Why would you do such an evil
thing. She was just an innocent
          little girl.
                    AMY
So was I a long time ago but then I
was given a gift and I grew up.
                    HANNAH

                    AMY
With all due respect. We are all
monster it’s just some of us don’t
          know it yet.
Suddenly a stake comes tearing through Amy’s stomach. She
screams in pain and Meg looks to her.

MEG

NO!

Amy’s eyes start to bleed then like a giant water balloon
she explodes sending blood and gore everywhere.
Meg yells in dissary. Jo and Beth rush over to her and find
a pile of blood on the floor and Amy’s dress laying in it.

JO

Amy?

Laurie looks up with a smile on his face. Meg turns and sees
DARLA (17) a pretty young girl dressed in ocean blue holding
a crossbow.

MEG

YOU!

Meg goes for Darla. Laurie gets up but is knocked back down
by Jo. Beth grabs Hannah and lobs her across the room.
                    BETH
How’s this for a story. Stupid
          reporter found gutted and drained
at ball by vampire slayer. Oh I can
          see the headlines now.

Beth jumps on top of Hannah and bites her. Laurie throws his

opens his legs so that it misses his groin but only just.
                    JO
You’re going to have to do much
          better than that slayer.
Combat begins between Jo and Laurie. Darla is circled by Meg
and Beth.
                    DARLA
Either of you ladies got a light?
                    MEG
Our sister is dead because of you.
                    DARLA
          So I can’t have a cigarette?
                    MEG
I am going to tear out your f*****g

throat!

                    DARLA
          Ooh why so nasty?
Meg and Beth go on the attack. Darla fights with them.
Hannah runs over to the exit but is stopped by a deeply
aggressive Jo who knocks her to the floor.
                    JO
Where you might you be going?
                    HANNAH
Please let me go. I didn’t do
          anything to you.
                    JO
Oh but you did. It was you who
exposed our crimes to the public.
It was you who made up constant
lies about our persona’s and it was
          you who collected the royalties
          from it.

Jo goes to attack Hannah but Laurie pushes Meg out of the
way and throws his stake like a dagger. It impales Jo right
through the heart.
Jo stares at him for a moment before exploding into blood
much like Amy. Hannah is covered in it.
                    BETH
          Josephine!
Beth takes Darla’s crossbow and throws it across the floor
then using one of the arrows she stabs Darla in the throat.
                    BETH
Now you experience true death like

my sisters.

Beth punches a hole right through Darla’s stomach and she
drops dead at Beth’s feet.
Laurie looks concerned and Meg takes advantage and hits him
hard.
                    MEG
Beth we must get out of here!
                    BETH

                    MEG
          Let mother deal with this.
                    BETH
               (Referring to Hannah)

And this one?

                    MEG
          Finish her and lets go.
Beth picks Hannah up by the hair and lifts her against the
wall by her throat.
Beth bites Hannah on the neck.
Meg heads for the exit. Laurie begins to stir and picks
himself up. He grabs the crossbow near Darla and loads it.
Beth takes Hannah’s neck in her hands and is about to snap
it when. THUNK! An arrow is shot right through her head.

          die. Beth! End him.
                    BETH
          With pleasure.
Before she can make a move Hannah reaches up with a piece of
broken wood and stakes Beth right through the back. It
passes through her heart.
Meg gasps in shock.
                    MEG

NO!

                    BETH
          Hold (a beat) me.
Beth explodes. Meg bursts into tears.
                    MEG
          YOU B***H!
Meg leaps into the air and takes flight at Hannah. Hannah’s
eyes grow and Laurie dives in front and fires a triple shot
of arrows.
Two arrows miss Meg but the third hits her in the eye. She
falls out of the air and Laurie rushes over to her with
Hannah’s stake in hand and plants it right through Meg’s
heart.
Meg squirms around for a moment. Laurie stands above her.
                    LAURIE
That is for my mother and sister.
Meg takes a final breath and like a balloon meets the same
gory explosive fate her sisters did. Laurie is covered in
blood but stands proudly.
Hannah walks over to him holding her neck and ribs.
                    HANNAH
The papers are going to be
          ransacked after this.
Laurie looks to Hannah, drops the stake and heads for the
exit.
Hannah wipes the blood off of herself and follows him.
INT.CHICAGO-NEWSPAPER OFFICE.DAY
                     "2 months later"
Hannah is working at her desk when a Woman enters and sits
across from her.
                    HANNAH
Hello. How may I help you?
The Woman lifts her head up and reveals herself as Myra.
                    MYRA
I was wondering if you might be
able to tell me where I could find
          this man.
Myra shows Hannah a picture of Laurie. Hannah takes great
interest.
                    HANNAH
That’s my fiance. Why would you

          want him?

                    MYRA
I am a distant cousin and need to
talk with him about some recent
          money events.
                    HANNAH
          That’s funny he’s never mentioned
you. What did you say your name was
          again?
                    MYRA
          Myra (a beat) Myra Enwood.
