Different

It's amazing how difference can change how people act...depending on what the "difference" is...

I like video games, but you like sports,

 

Your more of a jock, and I'm more of the dork,

 

Even though we're different, we're the best of friends,

 

We knew that our friendship would have no end...

 

You don't like potatoes, but I do,

 

I don't like tomatoes, but you do,

 

You hate science, but love math,

 

Number's aren't my strong suit, but I have the elements down pat,

 

Even though we're different, we were the best of friends,

 

We always thought that our friendship would have no end...

 

You walk the hallways, holding a girl's hand,

 

I do the same, except its a man,

 

You ridicule me for something your not,

 

Not caring how I feel or giving it a thought,

 

Even though we were different, we were the best of friends,

 

We used to think that our friendship would have no end...

 

I never changed, I still love everyone,

 

Likes and dislikes, race and characteristics,

 

Orientation or religion, I'm always optimistic,

 

You started to change, you began to hate,

 

You built up a wall, and only let a few cross over,

 

You allowed the darkness to seep in, and take over,

 

Even though we were different, it was nice being the best of friends,

 

It's not what we thought sadly, that our friendship must end...

I liked this very much, you should probably directly talk to him about how you feel, and if it doesn't change anything let him go and remember that losing closed minded a******s is only for the better.
