One Last Summer

Just a little poem I wrote when I realized I needed to focus more on the present. Nothing crazy

Then is Now tonight

And the figurative tears swell in my mind

Now is lost tonight

Then is on my mind

Find me then and you'll notice a change

You'll notice the swell

You'll see the tears

And you might smile or join

Join me of losing track of Then

And realizing it was now

That determines

Wow, I think this one is my favorite
I really like the ending.
I'm a firm believer that poems should go out with a bang and this one did just that.
