Flotsam Jetsam Rumors

Flotsam Jetsam Rumors

A Poem by Michael K. Evans
"

When tongues wag off the leash

"

Rumors are Flotsam jetsam

Vagrant words into wild winds

Typhoon gossip destructor

Life’s debris which keep slamming in

Ensigns are loose tongues flying violent some

Others could be gentle as subtle breezes

But for sure they are no respecters of men

Nor take heed to any type wisdom

When the wind merely tries to self-shelter

Further selfish purpose, hurt others or lift the self-centered

In the very end when the dust finally settles

True souls it has not conquered ne'er ever won

And if you watch it...

It still travels lonesome... on and on

Great poem, It has a quickness about it that mimics the feel of gossip being set in to a swift wind. When are you going to post some more poems?
