No Turning Back

Is there a point you can say

   there's no turning back

A mistake that you make that

   there's no coming back from

A wrong turn that you take

   and you know you can't back-track

A decision or a day you wish

   you could go back to

When your whole life was changed

   and now, looking back

You would give it all away

   just to choose the other path

And you ponder how your life would be

   if you chose right the first time

And you wonder if you'd be the same

   or be a better person

You want to be better

   you want to start fresh

But you're being held back

   by decisions from the past

And you don't know where to turn

   or which direction to take

You're afraid every decision

   will become a new mistake

But you're on a one-way path

   with a "No U-Turn" sign

So try to learn from your past

   and just keep on going
