famined refrain

famined refrain

A Poem by Kett

thrown colored stones parted and swallowed
a swell of velvet carpet
crimsons,
citrines, and a haunted onyx smoother
-- a stealer of my dreams,
certainly a possessor of such without much permission..

upon a sorter's interpretation
fingers pointed, nails hued, infused with insight
i exorcised your heart to regain my relief
as my hands writhed out of sync beneath crinkling shimmer's birthing..

pointed systems, like a 5-ended star
upside down crystals strung silver strand delicates,...
and neo-nouveau, pyramids sparkler i laid into the deceived
a lair which prismed and auras speaking upon my behalf..

a commiseration blew our souls together
entities yielding yet, a hope
in such a noir painted beginning, and ending...

the fractured release was predestined to meld
as her utterances continued as did my silence
remained such, not a word refuted
from a stranger's sleeve or tarot obliqued within her graphics while
disengaged my heart lept to believe and pulled
heart strings as firmed tensioned cables when taut...
