the wrestling madness

the wrestling madness

A Poem by Kett

i took a madness step
and asked for a forgiveness i could not take
i wondered if it would be the last
or if it would be something more to endure
how long must it be
and would the lights be still twittering for me to see?
horse's mane and a tail to braid
wishes upon a unicorn's horn pertruding from its head.
i'll strip it, ride its back for a cure to my ills
a painted pony, with hooves pounding a pavement sure
texted in a book my fate to endure...
wild trees that blow in their wind,
rushing streams looking for their time to find,
a blistering hand in need of relief.
i will find my oasis,
but not in you.
