the dark against the light

the dark against the light

A Poem by Kett

cosmic stem in a limb quite twisted
i rallied my heart to be still,
sensories conflicted
burns of desires, long wretched
everlasting, neverending
i step away from the dream.

perhaps another time,
another chance to sun-gleam
at last not to waiver,
nor studder afoot in the waves
coming in for the tide anew.
