Finally Alone (Part 4 in the series)

Travis drove around aimlessly for about a half hour before deciding to stop at JP Mulligans Bar and Restaurant on the other side of Martinsburg. Travis had been a fairly regular patron of JP's over the past many years. Usually he would stop in with a few buddies from work when he knew that Andrea and Taylor would be out of town visiting her mothers. JP's was a good place to go at Happy Hour, and was also considered 'a meat market', ie. a good place to hook up with someone of the opposite sex.

As he was entering the Bar he kept thinking, “Where am I gonna go tonite to sleep? I sure as hell don't want to go back home. Not with Andrea there. I might kill her!” Travis started thinking of different pals that he knew who might have an extra room for the night, or for even a longer period of time. Travis ordered his favorite drink a Long Island Tea. He drank it down quick and then ordered another. The first one tasted so sweet! Travis thought, “Maybe I should just go ahead and save a few bucks by ordering a whole pitcher of this magical juice!”

After getting what could be considered his 'buzz on', Travis headed for the exit door not really sure where he was headed. He would decide that later. He just wanted to get going before he got too comfortable sitting on his bar stool. He didn't want to get comfortable as he was still very upset and unsure of what to do about this whole mess. Before leaving Travis realized something. There was a computer at the end of the bar which was connected to the internet. For only four quarters you could get online and surf the web. Travis decided he wanted to do a search. He wanted to search for Jolleen's address.

Four quarter later Travis had an address of where the most enticing, sensual woman in the world resided. Jolleen Schnieder of 103 Hoboken Way, Deerside, Michigan. He knew just where it was. He didn't know if he would have the courage to actually go to her door and talk to her this evening, but he at least wanted to take the chance of seeing her and then keep that address with him for later reference. Who knows, thought Travis, maybe she would be out walking the dog and I could casually and innocently strike up a conversation with her. Travis left the bar quickly.

As Travis made his way to his pickup truck he was starting to forget the reason why he went to JP Mulligans. He was starting to feel alive again, a little devilish and he liked that feeling right now. He no longer just wanted to forget his troubles. He wanted to take a chance. He wanted to do something that might make things seem a little better in his life.

Travis didn't realize this, but he left JP's without his wallet. It was left by him right next to the computer.

So here we have the emotions pouring out a bit more.. he decides to go to a bar to have a drink .. this is completely believable.. he feels if he goes home right away he may kill his girlfriend .. I would expect a horrible thought like that.. not the action of it .. just the thought as he would be having a very hard time dealing with such a vision and awakening of such.. also he would be embarrassed as neighbour's must see this guy his girlfriend is with and not even tell him.. or hint.. as many do not like to get involved in such matters.. that would still chew him up a bit.. him leaving his wallet .. not caring about too much at the moment! All he seems to think about is this co-worker now and possibly getting even.. eg.. if she can have fun than so can I.. as he has had one night stands before himself..

This chapter is pouring out with conflicting emotions, I can feel travis's feelings of hurt and betrayal, also his "re-awakening" of sorts, he's gonna take back control..very nicely laid out and the build up is excellent..I enjoy these chapters..thanks again....:)

Good flow of words, explains what's going on clearly, the characters are growing in stature, like the way you add place description, etc.
