A Pop of the Color BlueA Poem by kera moondustLast one for the evening.People always tell me on Gloomy
days "Be sure you grab Your
umbrella" It’s never been quite so chilly Outside In August It’s as cold as the ice In your
winter time gaze I would’ve thought It was
October With all this Rain Keep
in mind darling I
hate the cold It’s washed away All this summers Dust
storms And muddied All the
waters Near
by Does this mean it muddied Your
eyes? I like walking streets On gloomy
days Even
when I Forget my umbrella Against
all my better judgment The rain whispers stories Into my ears Scarred
from a different Rainy
day Nearly 13 years ago In September I guess I have a lot to say But no words On days they have decided are Gloomy Much
like today So maybe next time I’ll take that advice And I
won’t forget My Umbrella Just make me a promise That it can save The rain
from muddying Your
ocean blue eyes Because they’re just an all too needed Pop of
blue In this world I see in Nothing
but Red Black And white © 2014 kera moondustAuthor's Note
