The Boy Who Lives on Pluto

The Boy Who Lives on Pluto

A Poem by kera moondust
"

poem for the third lover. Yep.

"

I was cursed with an unfortunate

                Problem

I attract men

                                No boys

With this terrible run of the mouth

                Spewing “I love you’s”

In places they’re far from needed

There is one

Who loves from Pluto

And even with his space colored eyes

It is always just out of my reach

He has a heart like intergalactic

                Stardust

And it makes up his entire

           Universe

He is convinced that I am the owner

           Of

But I have hands like black holes

And they reach for the spaces between his ribcage

Threatening to pull that heart

                Straight from his chest

Leaving nothing more than a cold

                                Lifeless husk of a body

Bitten by the ice on Pluto

And the chilliness of

                                Space

And scalded by my

                Oil paint

                                Red

Lips
