The Ocean and the SkyA Poem by kera moondustThe Boy with seaside eyes and the girl with the skyline gaze, again.I saw the ocean again On my way back into This
city He showed me tenderness His eyes are as vast as mine They
mimic me For an infinite variety Of complexity I fell in love with the ocean once before I have
fallen in love with the ocean again This time it was somewhere between New
Year’s Eve And a sunny Sunday morning in March His hands wandered A destination
clear In mind Searching the places in-between my thighs Panting quiet I love you’s Into
my ears So he’s come back to me As tides
often do But like the old saying Does
this mean it’s meant to be? You see he’s got eyes just like the Sea And I
the sky But this heart of mine has been broken Multiple
times I’m afraid he will fire some off form of squid’s ink Into
my skies Blotting out these weak city Stars They barely gleam here Against
this brightly lit skyline In my gaze But regardless of warnings I throw my light into his depths Where
it turns into diamonds We have mingled once again And all I can do At this
point Is beg Don’t Break my Heart Again © 2014 kera moondustAuthor's Note
