The Man with Eyes like MidnightA Poem by kera moondustIt's been some time since I've written a poem about this one, enjoy.Your hands explore this body With confidence I have never so much as seen In
another lover And regardless of how the heart Weighs
against the mind You don’t seem to be thinking With
either I know you think But you’re
too keen on keeping your thoughts To
yourself And I know you feel But I’ve
never once caught an inkling of Your
emotions And still I can see the softness in your Pitch black eyes The kind
of softness Only carried by the Previously
broken The night time knows kindness Like
that And your midnight eyes Only know that gaze You unintentionally reminded me That
there is love here But I know it will always remain Unspoken However it still hangs in the air Hot with breath mingled together Static with eyelashes tickling cheeks And warm with gentle caresses Of my
boy enveloped in yours And you know I very
easily Could Have Given You everything I know now we will always remain separate But our paths will cross As
we were fated to meet But always s…T….r……A………y Midnight isn’t a tangible Graspable Thing But I like the idea Of how it washes over cities and People Changing princesses Back
into Chamber
maids And proves over again That
you and I We
live in different worlds Yours is a quiet Pitch
black world With
demons lurking in your Night
time Mine is a fast paced Light blinded world Too drowned
in noise To even think about demons An even so I Will always love you See for me You’re
my childhood First
love But for you I’m just an old play thing And when we were kids There were countless like me But only
one Like You © 2014 kera moondustAuthor's Note
