To See You AgainA Poem by kera moondustYour eye’s are the seaside That
I fell in love with And I can’t help but see them (you) In
all the blue spaces In
my mind Six months have come and gone Since I first inhaled your summertime kiss And
I regret to inform you of the burn marks You
left in my paper heart I haven’t seen you since July And the very words you spoke into my wheat colored Hair Still linger in my ears Your arms around my rib cage Destroys
me as I lay In
familiar beds again You assure me you’ll come visit me But I don’t know if you actually plan on Visiting
me Or
visiting my group Maybe I haven’t been clear here But you won’t be keeping your promises If you see me But
not really…. See
(me) There are words you once spoke to me That still echo into the sheets of this Bed And I find that my feet are always Cold
without you here But I’ll be honest I have so many words to say And such little time to say them And I know you’ll just take that knife you’ve been
pushing Into
this chest of mine And twist it around a little The second I get to stare into those Ocean
colored eyes again Because just one look And I know I’ll be heart broken All over But I guess maybe then I will let you Go But it doesn't mean I’m not mortified Because you’re a cruel hearted snake Coiling around this oily heart of Mine And I know that the detachment in your eyes Will
be just enough To destroy me © 2013 kera moondustAuthor's Note
