Seaway CavalierA Poem by kera moondustHe's more ocean born then he knows. You are the summer The kind that bleeds vintage photographs And midnight dips into the depths Davy Jones locker You're the embodiment of salt crystals They crust your ocean born skin I can tell you we're born to belong to the sea Whether or not you believe that Aside You are warm nights And August Meteor shower skies When I find myself staring into the Milky Way And the only wish I can think of is how much I want you (Near me) You taste like rain smells Refreshing Lighting up my every Sense Until my fingers brush your face And the water droplets on my skin Remind me how truly Alive I really am You are the sunset That reminds me which colors to paint with To enchant earth colored eyes And the energy that Circulates my blood stream When I find I'm running on empty At 4am Not even energy drinks could keep me awake as well as Thoughts of you And I know you're worried About me And our future I am too But not enough to make me get down on my knees And pray Because I've been through worse And so have you So trust me when I say We will make it through this And I know you're reluctant to let me be called by the sea But wow Would you look more then at home On the beach With sea salt in your hair Sand between your toes And those Poseidon Neptune Godly blue eyes of yours Mocking all seven seas at once for that perfect Shade of Blue
