All in Good CompanyA Poem by kera moondustA poem for him. =) I like this one so yeah...You move
through my thoughts like water Slipping down
my throat The ravine
we played in as children caressing the curves of skin The nighttime
is inches in front of my eyes Sometimes I
wonder where time has gone The little
pink wristwatch on my wrist Counting in
time till thirty seconds Like some swinging
pendulum finally hit Far To The Left What’s it
mean when I say (I’ve known
you all my life) My eyes are Poseidon The moon filters crystal water
light onto your body Controlled by the cataracts in
my eyes The circles
around my eyes are a solar eclipse Stopping the
shadows we got so good at naming From clasping
over our vision We were entwined
like our fingers would be if you weren’t (600 miles away) I know you’d
find it clever to whisper into my ears How much you
loved to taste me How much you
will miss of my wheat blond hair Or maybe it’s
how much I’ll love Your eyes sincere
like nature With the sky
reflecting off your body But god don’t
remind me that you’ll be on the battlefield Being run by
vultures Waiting for
the weak to collapse as to feast On their (rotting Flesh) Sometimes when
I think of you Midnight is
still the pinprick visual in my eyes My heart
beat is faster than the norm Nursing me a
nervous wreck With that
tornado natural disaster behind me Amplifying my
vocal cords Reverberating
a laugh around your heart Don’t worry
dear I make
pretty good company On nights
when you feel like there’s nothing to talk about Because that’s
the thing We don’t
have to have quiet silence I f*****g
love it loud You’ll be
the absence of air in my rib cage The cardiac
arrest on nights when I know (I just can’t tell you how I
feel) So instead I’ll beg you
for your sorry’s And make
love to your thoughts Kiss your
eyelashes Tantalize your
skin And do my
best to steal your time Leaving you
flat on your a*s when the holiday has past Don’t worry. I’ll miss you too © 2012 kera moondust |
