I'm SorryA Poem by Mackenzie KnitterReally dark time, trying really hard not to worm my way back into the darkness.. :/
It drips, but I like it when it pours,
That's why I push harder, seeking more More of something that I can't get a grip on. Knuckles turning white with the struggle to hold on. 'Hold on to reality!' They scream with disgust. But even if I hold on, it'll never be enough. For I am scarred now, marred now, It drains from my heart now, I'm sorry now, You can't be proud, I'm letting go and spiralling down. I'm sorry I'm just a clown I'm sorry you can't be proud of me. I'm sorry I let you down, Because I'm falling apart at the seams. I can't always fake a smile, Live my life so perfectly. I'm not strong all of the time, And If my tears make me weak, I'm sorry.
