Goodbye You, Hello Me

Goodbye You, Hello Me

A Poem by KenzeeMay

I am the beloved ruler of "Me."
I believe my insignificant soul holds the golden key..
to eternal happiness.
If only it was easy, to see it right in front of me.
But that's the thing, no one else is capable of making birds sing.
It comes from within.
And when the realization finally sinks in, the depths of my despair begins its end.
It's time to say goodbye to the addictive falsehoods that so beautifully entrapped me.
Goodbye to the enticing existence which perfectly captivated my being.
Goodbye to the hands who mocked the ocean, pushing me to the rocks, then pulling me back into the enchanting whirlpool of your love.
I can finally see, my eyes have finally learned.
The ocean now takes power over me, drowning every deception that lay claim to my golden key.
Guiding them to the deep blue abyss of my darkest seas.
Leaving only me to rule over the beloved temple of eternal happiness.

Stormy. Watery. Always love the view from the rocks.

yes, always :)
The following line:. "Goodbye to the hands who mocked the ocean, pushing me to the rocks, then pulling me back into the enchanting whirlpool of your love". Is sensational! Very well done.
