Dreaming

Dreaming

A Poem by Kenya Caddence
"

I am always daydreaming. Living off my fake reality. All of a sudden real reality hits, and I realize maybe those thoughts, will always just be thoughts.

"

I once looked above to see what I couldn’t see

Went to the unknown to believe only what I knew was to be.

What more could I dream without hope of another dream?

I once heard the sky whispering me soft things

Making me hope one day maybe I’ll believe

But, what more could I dream without hope of another dream?

I’m ready now to stop living as a wishful being

I want to only believe what there is to believe

Now if only I could dream without the hope of another dream.

About
Since I can remember, I've been writing but I don't consider myself a writer. Through the hard times, a pen and paper were close by and through the good times, the joys were written down. I am a J.. more..
