Welcoming Spring

Welcoming Spring

A Poem by Kenilo Kent
"

A Tribute to Winter!

"
Winter has shed its frosty gown
To unveil the hills vibrant touch,
And fallen pine cones roll down
Upon the streams gentle gush.

Lovely :) I really like the metaphor in the first line (frosty gown) as well as the onomatopoeia in the last (gentle gush). Love the imagery of the pine done falling and rolling into the stream... It created a crystal picture in my mind. Thank you!
