A Poem by Kenneth Nicholas Lowe

A day once lost,
can never be found
The amendment of thus,
need be swift and complacent
Dismissal to repent,
shan't draw you, a gallow's fate
But in ages to come,
the past you shall hate

Beautiful write. Some may not repent for the mistakes they made in the past, but it will haunt them into the future.

Very thought provoking...and paradoxical...while hating the past you are losing time in the present...yes very nicely done.

A positive strong write, to look to the future. A new day, a new start...

Short and with much to ponder about, nicely done.
