Hard to Tell

what were all those dreams we shared so many years ago?
sometimes its hard to know.
More than friends I've always known.
because friends they come and go.
how it pains me to leave you on your own,

and no matter hard I yell,
no one hears me from the bottom of this well.
whether or not anyone cares is hard to tell.
I just wish that life had never become this hell.
oh how far I've fell.
