I'm Not My Former

I'm Not My Former

A Poem by kenny

I changed by not changing at all,
thats always been my way, by answering that call,
for stability and endurance,
But to be rewarded for it, is indeed a rare occurrence.
Every day I still light up your name,
but I'm left in the dark all the same.
The world, so large, so random, so uncaring,
Sometimes I wonder if this life is even worth sharing.
But that's what no one wants to see,
no one wants much for me,
but for me to fade away,
and to just get out of their day.
after all, we've all got problems of our own,
But such is a legacy of stone.
