The Skull

The Skull

A Poem by kenny

The first signs of madness,
were the longest to pass.
Deep rooted insanity,
Quickly overtook me.
reveling in the chaos of the mind,
I searched for nothing I could find.
Unable to silence the roar I heard,
or the feelings that had my bones so stirred.
Aching from the very depths of my existence,
my very roots to this world rotted in pestilence.
The decay of morbidity,
the pain I allowed no one to see.
The skull cracks from deep inside,
no hope of the throbbing to subside.
Broken from my very depths,
no longer able to take the steps,
for my path is made here,
and the end, is ever clear.
