rant: what people really mean

rant: what people really mean

A Poem by kenny

a lot of time people get lost in wording. People often say things, but what even ARE words but an attempt to convey thoughts. So the fact of the matter is, stop looking at words, and look for their meaning less in literal terms, and more of what's behind them. How does one do this?

Boy: wow that looks really good on you!
Girl: thanks! :) ... But, it's the same stuff I wear every day :p

what boy meant: I think YOU are pretty
what girl meant: thanks.

While the boys comment was seemingly about the article of clothing, I'm not gunna lie, we could really care less what is on your shirt, as long as how it fits you. (ya know, why do women even wear nail polish? what guy ever goes, I really wanna date her, her nails are soooo nice?)

And why the woman may make the complaint of, why haven't you noticed yet? she's not connecting any dots, and really, no one ever does, and in all actuality, probably thinks he really does like the shirt.

Man 1 : nice weather today man 2
man 2: yeah, we could use the rain man 1

what they both really meant: ...NOTHING.

Not that I like to give my self advertisements, but, I wrote a really awesome poem, that has just been so overlooked. I "featured" it, but for some reason, only 5 people have read, opposed to the twenty somethings for the poems I wrote before and after. So hit it up, it's a poem I wrote, made up, of poems, I wrote lotta hard work there, the longest I've ever worked on a poem hands down.

yeah. I wrote an article, then addressed what I thought was a problem. It was good and creative work, and people come here to read, good and creative work, and I thought they were missing out. I know its my favorite poem. otherwise I wouldn't have featured it. I apologize if you thought it was tacky, hell, I think it was tacky, but, it needed doing.

So wrote a rant to advertise about something else you wrote and leave a broken link.

Okay. Terrific
