SimpleA Poem by kenny
The rock that lies still,
the tree that grows through pure will. The sky so wide so blue, the simple things of me and you. What it was when we needed one another, and now we realize we shouldn't bother. but every day I continue to question, and my weary soul has no bastion. I miss the simple goal you gave my heart. I would give anything to play my part. But now the goal is muddied, and my vision is bloodied. Swollen shut my heart cannot beat, oh what I would give to have it set free. © 2011 kenny |
