DogsA Poem by kenny
Left to scrounge the scraps,
Sleeping under ragged flaps, and I only asked for a small royalty, in return for all my loyalty, I got a bone, but it broke, left with only a ragged break, on that I choke. Scratched and bleeding all the way down, left a wrecked and feeble hound I lie to myself, and say things will pick up, but I'm just a f**k up. How can you lend your shoulder, when you were my destroyer? how can I carry on, when I can't bear to see the dawn? You were my owner, and now I'm a loner. Tonight it will rain again, tears my only friend © 2011 kenny |
