Empty Presents

Empty Presents

A Poem by kenny

Every single gift this christmas,
down to the bottom of the list,
might as well be empty.
Because they don't matter to me.
All I care about is a pretty woman,
one who's heart I longed to win.
I spent all I had on a humble gift,
my heart and soul for you to uplift.

Instead I am left now with nothing,
simply left to stay forever wishing.
