Sick and tired

Sick and tired

A Poem by Kenny Alex

I am sick and tired, of everything,
No peace or harmony, the earth is sinking,
Fake friends, racism, ain't nothing change,
Bullshit on regular but don't think I'm insane.

Sick of corrupt governments, stealing from citizens,
Tired of citizens, complaining about their governments,
Fake a*s people, trying to change their accents,
Cops handling human life as if it's worthless.

I'm sick and tired of the news,
Is it fake? Or is it real? no one knows,
Rumors of Russia hacking the US election,
But what's important, they still don't mention.

I'm sick and tired, of the unemployment rate,
We all tryna feed our loved ones, it can't wait,
Im tired with no rest, hustles can't pay no rent,
The gangster in me is coming out, it's not safe.

I'm sick and tired, of being being sick and tired,
No solution they lied, besides I was never inspired,
My whole life I tried, nothing ever worked,
If life is a game to play safe, then mine has been breached, it's game over.

there is so much going on in the world right now but it all comes down to how powerless it makes you feel. Like you are stripped of your right to think, raided your ability to fight back and forced to watch it all of it play out and falling apart. This should be a national anthem for a lot of countries.

The world around us is confusing at best. I'm also sick and tired. What happened to playing in the mud with some sticks, not caring about this stuff. As we get older and learn more things make less sense... Especially with all the bull. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed it.
