In the Wake of GodsA Poem by Ken e BujoldTrue inspiration, I sense,
almost feel, cannot be bottled like the wind or spun
as if everyday run-of-the-mill cloth -- imagination requires a quick and
steady mind to keep the twisting
fibers roving about the spindle -- free of the hallucinatory entanglements
of unballasted apprehensions. Poetry, if often confused, conflated
with ethereal elements, cannot
flourish for long once the Sonneteer drifts
off lucidity into the ambiguous shoals of a cracked reality. Our
craft was never meant to navigate the wake of Gods. Ken e Bujold © 2024 Ken e BujoldReviews
