![]() Girl in a Green DressA Poem by Ken e Bujold![]() triggered by a conversation with Chris Shaw about Monet's Camille![]() An autumn fancy, girl in a green dress rustling shadows of a late afternoon, stirs a recollection of another skirt, other moment in time, slipping away from illicit midday rendezvous. If I close my eyes, my mind hints I might imagine the ghost she left me differently. Perhaps. Unlike Monet recalling Camille the automatic reflex of colors is not a window to reflection, opportunity to revisit the moment she departed. I watch the girl slink into the dark hole of an underground, on her way, I imagine, to an illicit midday rendezvous with some one. Not me. Ken e Bujold
