Poem

A Poem by Ken e Bujold

I ravished her, inch by
inch, a rough-handled scythe
cutting the unintended
verdant verbiage, until
late in the evening, only a few
hardy syllables remained.
What once untamed,
now cantered --
a well mannered poem.

I know precisely what you mean Ken .. but for what it's worth, I entered a local scything competition a few years back .. and came nowhere :)

That rough handled scythe is difficult to handle with any sort of finesse
At least they now know what they could be facing come what may
