Here's my penny's worth: a conundrum with clues pointing to 'down the rabbit hole' I.e. entering on a journey which is strange, complex, etc. Contra the journalistic formula for 'a good story' answering the who, where, why, etc, the poet suggests a greater complexity can be found, as with 'a question loiters in the why'. A newspaper article answers questions, a poem can begin to ask them.

perhaps it will roll uphill as all of our spirits rise towards the heavens.
Or perhaps maybe will always exist and we will never know the answer.

I can see where the word WHY or WHAT would end up being a Pandora's box, or a you say, a rabbit hole....there are many answers to a question and it can become ridiculous... why do people ask so much, and then we run out of answers, or we think about them too much and end up going around in circles.

I watched a bunch of shows on the Keily Rodney case and got hooked on it. After a while of hearing different stories and going down those rabbit holes I got tired of it. I've stayed away from things dealing with conspiracies and social media ever sinse. Clickbait sucks.
