The Girl With the Red Heart

The Girl With the Red Heart

A Poem by Ken e Bujold

The girl with the red heart

waiting on the 216A

seems completely unimpressed

with my skyward glances

leafs in the shade

of a summer storm

washing through

she has her hunger

well in check

urges notwithstanding.
