Once There Was a DeathA Poem by Ken e Bujold
Once there was a death,
somebody died. We all watched thinking it might have been somebody we knew. It wasn't so nobody cried. It's his job, somebody told me, nobody I knew, to keep us all informed when anybody dies in case it's somebody we ought to mourn. Sadly, nobody died, now who's going to tell us when anybody dies?
