Poetic Justice

Poetic Justice

A Poem by Ken e Bujold

I knew a rich man once,
he lived quite poorly,

having squandered a fortune
on four wealthy wives.

He died alone,
blue faced,
trying to regurgitate
his last farthing for a crown.
