Mr. Young

Mr. Young

A Poem by Kena
"

REALLY personal new song. I know I've said that before, but this time it's crazy personal.

"

V1.

God only knows

why I want to stay

I keep losing my mind anyways

Guess you're an angel

Sent for me

Just don't understand why at first I didn't see

I've been lost

So many times

Don't comprehend why I still chime in

I'm like a wave tossed in a sea of people

Bridge:

Some days are small, and we're both small with them

The rest of the time, I read your heart like it's my anthem

Chorus:

Mr. Young, you drive me insane

But I wouldn't have you any other way

I'm so sorry if I let you down,

there are days I feel lower than this town

You always say before joy comes pain

V2.

I keep wondering,

waiting for you

Won't blame anything

but still feel blue

Hoping and praying

you'll find me again

I thought the happiness before this was our ending

Bridge:

Sometimes it feels like I'm all alone when I shouldn't be

But I know God has a plan for you and me

Chorus:

Mr. Young, you drive me insane

But I wouldn't have you any other way

I'm so sorry to apologize

but that and praying help in my eyes

Bridge:

Before joy comes pain

And fire after rain

I'm lost in this mirror house of change

Chorus:

Mr. Young, you drive me insane

But I wouldn't have you any other way

I remember when I was blessed to make you smile

Haven't seen you in a while.

But I hope you know

I love you so much, Mr. Young

About
What can I say? I've gone from stories to songs. But I guess songs are stories, too. I love God and music, in that order. God has given me so much, it's overwhelming. I complain a lot, but I think.. more..
