Untame

Untame

A Poem by Kena
"

Newest song to my friends who have been pushed around. <3

"

V1.

Who are you to judge me?

Who are you to drive me insane?

Who am I to listen to your words of nothing

and let you wrap me up in this chain?

Who were they to push you so far?

Who were you to let them get by?

Who am I to let you keep the wheel turning

and hand you victory with a sigh?

Bridge:

I don't think so

Not one more day,

staring this picture down

in its broken frame

I'll let you be a flower,

but I won't be the same

Guess I'd rather be the only untame

Chorus:

Slow down, don't say one more word

I won't be a victim to you

Don't apologize for letting me find myself,

trust me, your voice has been heard

V2.

What did I do to deserve this?

What did I do to be hurt?

Why did you have to find someone just like you

and treat them like they're lower than dirt?

Bridge:

I don't think so,

Not one more tear

watching your eyes,

I see the same amount of fear

I won't let you keep going,

and I won't forget the pain

but I'd rather be the only untame

(Back to 1st chorus)

About
What can I say? I've gone from stories to songs. But I guess songs are stories, too. I love God and music, in that order. God has given me so much, it's overwhelming. I complain a lot, but I think.. more..
