Hero

Hero

A Poem by Kena
"

This is an EXTREMELY personal song that I am very proud to have written. :)

"

V1.

He keeps on his own path

Going on as far as he can without stopping

He knows they won't care if he needs help of any kind

She stares up at the sky

Wondering if her tears are worth wasting

Wishing she could hit rewind

Bridge:

Some day they'll know

How blessed they are, even though

Chorus:

Someone should have been a hero

Someone should have given a glance

Someone should have stepped up

And offered you a second chance

I know sometimes it feels like

No one understands

But then on your shoulders, you'll feel God's hands

V2.

She lives in her own world

Blocking out all the misunderstanding

She won't deal with a painful-worded symphony

He's trying to figure out

How she lives with such a lonely atmosphere

All he knows, it's a mystery

Bridge:

Someday they'll know

They've already won the battle, even though

(Back to chorus....)

About
What can I say? I've gone from stories to songs. But I guess songs are stories, too. I love God and music, in that order. God has given me so much, it's overwhelming. I complain a lot, but I think.. more..
